- Rockford Spine Center
was founded by Fred A.
Sweet M.D. and Michael S.
Roh M.D. in 2003. They were joined by Christopher
S. Sliva M.D. in 2005.
- Dr. Sweet, Dr.
Roh, and Dr. Sliva are fellowship trained in pediatric and adult spine
surgery.
- Also in 2005, the
Rockford Spine Center expanded its services with the
addition of Marie A. Walker
M.D.. In addition to being
trained in the non-surgical management of spine and
musculoskeletal disorders, Dr. Walker is also proficient in
the performance of Electromyography and Nerve
Conduction Velocity (EMG/NCV) studies.
- Rockford Spine Center's
physicians are involved in medical education and are
affiliated with the University of Illinois College of
Medicine. Continuing Medical Education lectures about the
spine are given to area physicians and health care
providers. Clerkships are
available for medical students and family practice
residents.
- Rockford Spine Center
is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for disorders
of the spine involving the neck, upper and lower back,
in children and adults.
